What If “Enough” Is Closer Than You Think?

Most of us don’t suffer because life is bad.  We suffer because enough is always scheduled for later.

Later, when things calm down.

Later, when we have more clarity, more money, more time.

Later, when one more piece falls into place.

The problem is that “later” keeps moving.

I’ve noticed something uncomfortable in myself: even when things are objectively good, my mind looks for what’s missing. Not because something is wrong, but because improvement turned into a non-stop habit. And we rarely question it.

Here’s the provocation: what if nothing essential is missing right now?

This doesn’t mean you stop growing. It means you stop postponing peace. Enough isn’t a finish line but a decision to notice things are good now. Notice that today may already contain the relationships, health, work, and freedom you once hoped for. Not perfectly. Not forever. But sufficiently.

Because if enoughis closer than we think, the real work isn’t achieving it. It’s allowing ourselves to recognize it.
