Trust and Leadership
People just won’t do their best for leaders with whom they don’t feel a caring connection. All human relationships are based on trust, and its absence makes relationships vulnerable. Thus, leaders must do their maximum effort to create a trust environment by being a role model, telling the truth, being part of the team, and leading with transparency.
Even though leaders need to be concerned about the future, the most important leadership actions are the ones we take today. We never know whose life we might touch, what change we might initiate, or the impact we might have. But we know that leaders can always make a difference generating a movement that leaves the world better that they found it.
