Self-Fulfilling Prophecies

In any given situation, your brain will make a big effort to demonstrate that the reality is equal to the belief. When you think that something is not going to work well, you are preparing your brain to fail, and you will probably fail.  Your brain will be satisfied with the assertiveness of the prediction and will release dopamine to make you feel good, even in front of the failure.

We call this self-fulfilling prophecies, and they can either play in favor or against your performance in any situation. They are the manifestations of our expectations, whether positive or negative, which shape our behaviors and ultimately bring about the outcomes we anticipate. Like seeds planted in fertile soil, our thoughts and beliefs germinate into actions, nurturing the future we envision.

Our brain is not concerned about being happy, just wants to be right.

Behind self-fulfilling prophecies lies a profound opportunity for self-awareness and empowerment. By cultivating a mindful understanding of our beliefs and their potential consequences, we can consciously choose the narratives that shape our reality.

Indeed, positive self-talk and a nurturing mindset are the guardian angels that guide us through the labyrinth of self-fulfilling prophecies. Speaking to ourselves words of affirmation and kindness, infuse our thoughts with resilience and optimism, anchoring us to believe that our potential knows no bounds.
