Wish People Well
Wishing others well fully and honestly is an experience that will not only make you (and often the other person) instantly feel good, but also lays the foundation for a happy life.
“I wish you the best”. “I wish you happiness”
Something as simple as wishing happiness to others can have a huge impact on our own happiness. We can get out of ourselves by shifting our attention to others and breaking down excessive self-concern, increasing our empathy, connection, and happiness levels, contributing also to reduce anxiety.
Naturally, this is easy to do when we like the other person. However, the interesting part is to put this in practice with people we don’t necessarily feel empathy with, or people that we observe doing things we don’t like, or any person we don’t have a good relationship with. It’s not necessary to say it aloud, can be just wishing them the best with honesty, reducing or eliminating our judgement.
The simple fact of having the intention of the positive wish will make us feel good and will transcend with a positive effect on the world.
