Kintsugi

A Japanese technique called Kintsugi consists of fixing broken ceramic with a mixture of resin and gold, silver or platinum powder, so that the cracks are covered, but clearly visible.

Making the scars beautifully exposed, reveals experience and the battles of the past, increasing their value just by not pretending to hide them.

This is a good philosophy that can be applied in life to change the perspective over our past problems, our obstacles, and fragilities, so instead of perceiving them as weaknesses we can to see them as a sign of strength and improvement.

With Kintsugi our wounds do not disappear but, on the contrary, they become clearly visible and valued when they are covered “in gold”, so we can be proud of our scars and exhibit them with determination, as a sign of all the problems we solved, all the experiences we went through and all the learning and growth in our life.
