Navigating Change
March 13th, 2023
If we look at nature, disturbances like storms, fire and disease, result in areas of dead trees, creating the environment for a new forest to grow. That is the essence of nature.
In our life also breakthroughs require breakdowns, and “the birth of something better normally demands a death of something familiar”(1). This turbulence is many times labeled as bad or wrong, however, that discomfort is necessary to grow.
Our progress as humans never happens during the days of our ease. It is built upon doing difficult things and going through hostile storms.
We must aim to construct an inner strength that is capable to remain cool, peaceful, and grateful, regardless of the external conditions, accepting and embracing the new environment instead of resisting.
